The Alberta Sport Development Centre is now accepting applications for the hockey off-season summer athlete enhancement program (“Hockey AEP”). This program is for emerging athletes looking to take their performance to the next level with a hockey specific training summer program under the guidance of a strength and conditioning coach.
The Hockey AEP will run from May 14-Aug 31 and will include weekly strength and conditioning sessions (up to 2), intake and outgoing performance assessments, and periodized sport-specific programming tailored to the results of assessments. Cost of the program is $400.
This program will be for hockey players age 12-18 years and players will be placed in smaller groups according to age and skill. This program requires athletes to be committed to attending sessions regularly.
If you’re looking to increase your athleticism, performance and be hockey ready, contact ASDC Co-ordinator Cory Coehoorn before May 7, 2018 for your application by emailing: CCoehoorn@mhc.ab.ca
