SEAC Clubs Play Host to over 200 Timbit Players

This past Saturday saw members of the SEAC Bantam AAA and Midget 15 clubs giving back with the annual SEAC Day at the Hockey Hounds Arena.

More than 225 Timbit players were led through drills and skill stations as part of Medicine Hat Minor Hockey and SEAC's "The Next Generation" initiative. Six different on-ice stations were set up and manned by a rotating cast of bantam and midget players, creating an opportunity for our region's elite level group to engage with our city's youngest hockey players.

A great time was had by all, and once the players were done helping and showing the youngsters on the ice their drills, everyone was treated to Timbits and hot chocolate courtesy of Tim Horton's.

SEAC Day serves as one of a number of initiatives undertaken by the South East Athletic Club's member teams to give back to the community.
