At our Home Opener this weekend, we will be collecting food items and money donations for the Medicine Hat Food Bank.
The wish list of items the food bank is most in need of include:
Donating food is always welcome! We suggest that you only bring food here that you would feel comfortable serving in your own home.
These Wish List items are always needed:
small peanut butters
canned meats – tuna, chicken, ham, turkey
2 in 1 shampoos
feminine hygiene products
save those mini hotel shampoos etc (we bag for emergency hampers)
and of course, we are always happy to receive other items
The easiest thing to consider is if you had to start fresh what would you need?
The following items are things we require, or would help make our jobs more efficient.

1 - new van
1 - 2 door glass cooler
garden seed packets
Food First Program
10 household freezers (each program session)
10 crockpots (each program session)
Our Food First program runs twice a year with 10 members as participants. During this program the participants are taught the basic skills to help them start back on their own. Each participant receives a freezer and crockpot during the program.

The SEAC Midget 15's will open the season at the Hounds Saturday, September 28th, as they take on the Calgary CNHA Blazers. That tilt gets underway at 2:00pm. Help us pack the rink for a worthy cause and an afternoon and evening full of great local hockey!
