Injury woes slowed the Tigers in Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League play this past weekend.
The SEAC squad earned a tie and took a loss in a pair of games. On Saturday they fell 3-2 to the visiting Calgary Royals, despite a goal and an assist each from Caleb Garrecht and Deegan Kinniburgh. Beck Boiteau made 39 saves, while SEAC could only manage 14 shots on the Royals’ net.
In Airdrie to face the division-rival Xtreme Sunday, the Tigers never trailed but had to settle for a 3-3 tie. Julian Laqua, Sammy Hynes and Josh Van Mulligen had the goals, while Cole Unger and Elias Eisenbarth each had two assists.
The team was missing three players to injury.
