The South East Athletic Club’s midget 15-year-old Tigers earned a pair of wins on the weekend.
In Calgary Saturday, they clamped down for a 3-1 win over the Canucks. Landon Porteous made 31 saves, while Daniel Ganert, Braden Patey and Ty Flaig had the goals.
They never trailed in Sunday’s 4-3 win on home ice. Ganert, Josh Drefs and Austin Derzaph had first-period goals, Matthew MacPherson added one late in the second shorthanded and Kaiden Morin made 24 saves.
SEAC is at home this Saturday (7:45 p.m.) and Sunday (2:45 p.m.) at Hockey Hounds.
