A last-minute goal salvaged a single point for the South East Athletic Club’s midget 15-year-old squad Sunday.
At Calgary to face the Bruins, Ethan Kinch scored with 57 seconds left to earn a 3-3 tie.
Kinch also assisted on Zach Hauck’s goal, while Matthew MacPherson had the other. Kaiden Morin made 23 saves, but SEAC outshot the Bruins 45-26 and had six power plays to Calgary’s two.
The Midget 15's are on the road this weekend to take part in the Prairie Classic E15 Tournament in Caronport, SK hosted by Prairie Hockey Academy Elite 15's. SEAC will play two games Friday, their first game against the Lethbridge Hurricanes, followed by Sherwood Park Squires and their final round-robin game Saturday morning against the host Prairie Academy.
