The South East Athletic Club’s midget 15-year-old Tigers ended their season Friday.
At the Sutter Cup in Calgary, the Tigers fell 3-2 to the Calgary Canucks, or at least that’s what they reported on their teams’ Twitter account. The league website had yet to show a final score as of press time Friday night, nor any game details.
The Tigers fell 3-1 to Calgary Blue Thursday morning, then tied higher-ranked Lethbridge 1-1 to give themselves a chance at the playoff round. They needed a win in their last round-robin game.
Brady Mahar had the lone goal against Lethbridge, while Landon Porteous made 25 saves.
Daniel Ganert had the lone goal in the earlier loss to Blue.
