
SEAC is pleased to announce the Head Coaches for the 2022-23 Season
U17AAA – Kevin Riehl
Kevin joins SEAC with over 15 years of coaching experience. through the Minor Hockey system. He has had much success with the U18AA program over many years, including a Provincial Championship.
Kevin is a Medicine Hat Tiger Alumni, who was drafted by the New Jersey Devils. He played 14 years of professional hockey in North America and Europe.
Kevin is looking forward to working with the U17AAA in its inaugural year.
U15AAA – Mike Mueller
SEAC would like to welcome Mike to Medicine Hat and are pleased that along with his new position at South Country Co-op as the Vice President - Agro Division, he also brings with him a wealth of hockey experience, as a player and coach that he would like to share with his new community.
Mike’s coaching experience ranges from AAA level hockey, Alberta Cup, World Under 17 through to the AJHL, with successful appearances at the provincial levels.
U15AA – BJ Lang
BJ brings decades of coaching experience in many aspects across the globe. He has organized and instructed skills camps in Canada, across Europe and New Zealand. Much of the knowledge he brings is on individual skill development.
In his professional hockey career, BJ played hockey in the New Zealand Ice Hockey Professional League.
SEAC welcome these three head coaches to the program and will provide more information on their coaching staff in the near future.
