SEAC Tigers - 2023-24 Season Awards



The SEAC Tigers seasons have concluded, congratulations to all three teams for successful seasons.

A year-end banquet was held with all three teams and below are a list of this years player award receipients


TOP DEFENSEMAN

this award goes to the defenseman who competed consistently every day in practice and games.  This player put the team first and helped make the players around him better throughout the season while having the largest impact on the defensive part of the game.

TOP FORWARD

this award goes to the forward who was reliable in all situations.  He could be used in a variety of positions as was selected based on having the largest impact both offensively and defensively.   His consistent play all over the ice makes him the top forward.

MOST DEDICATED

this award goes to a player who rarely gets recognition and plays in relative obscurity, however, developed into a reliable team player that could be used in any situation.  This player increased the impact on their teammates and coaching staff in a positive way that made others around them wanting to strive to become a better player and person for the entire season.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

this recognition goes to a player who was judged to be most valuable to his team.  They bring a tremendous level of commitment for working hard on and off the ice.  This player brought maximum effort to the player’s position and contribution to the team’s overall success.

RILEY MARTIN MEMORIAL AWARD

Awarded to the player whose performance best exhibits a strong desire to compete, that plays with a team first attitude and goes above and beyond to excel through hard work, perseverance, and commitment to the game.

TERRY BARTMAN MEMORIAL LEADERSHIP & INTEGRITY AWARD

This award goes to the player who takes responsibility for their actions, putting others needs above their own and showing respect to all members of the SEAC program and their community.  This player encourages, motivates, inspires, and challenges their teammates to be their best.  Their leadership is shown by example.
