On November 19th the U17AAA SEAC Tiger vs Calgary Bulls Game was dedicated as a fundraiser for Cancer.
Together with the Calgary Bulls, the Tigers recognized and honoured those who have fought, are fighting, or have won the battle against cancer.
Through team-made caramel popcorn sales, a 50/50, a silent auction, and donations, a total of $6430.35 was raised. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Margery E Yuill Cancer Centre in Medicine Hat.
This money will be used to transport local patients for treatment that is not offered in Medicine Hat.
We would like to acknowledge the great work done by the U17AAA SEAC Coaches, Parents & Players in hosting the event as well, appreciate the support given from the Calgary Bulls team.
